Using Firefox with EPM is nothing new, we have been doing it for years, you just need to install the Remote XUL Manager add on, and drop in the server name. Even better, if you install 11.1.2.3.700+ or 11.1.2.4 you don't even need XUL manager, it will natively support EPM, but recently Firefox made a small change. Starting with Firefox 42, XUL manager requires that you add a schema to the domains you add to the list, meaning you can no longer just add the server name, but need to add the schema as well.
You would think that adding http:// in front of the server name (http://servername) would work, but this wont solve the problem. In order to get it to work you also need to drop the port on the end (http://servername:19000) once you do this, you are all set.
Hope this helps someone, until next time
